About our Ministry

Love of the Cross, is a love story of a Father and a Son, determined to restore a family lost through deception and storms blowing them off course. Stolen identity, stolen inheritance all restored. Restoring relationship, identity, inheritance, and purpose. Exodus 6:6, with and outstretched arm I will redeem you. In a vision I saw the Lord lifting His hands to the Father declaring His love for the Father and for myself. In the wounds on His hands I saw my name written in the wounds. His declaration to the Father was a promise to never leave me nor forsake me. Isaiah 49.

In a season of weariness I asked the Lord to “sit this one out.” I kept seeing myself sitting on a road, discouraged, but the Lord looked at me with true delight. I asked Him, “Show me something new about You.”  He replied, “I don’t have to breathe but I breathe for you. When you are too weak to breathe I breathe for you. When you are too hopeless to breathe, I breathe life into you. In a season where you find yourself hopeless, learn to “hear” the breathe of God breathing life into that which seems dead. Hear Him breathe light into darkness. Learning that the breath of God will sustain you when you are too weak to stand.

The Emmaus Road. Luke 24. Often the Lord speaks to us in a way that shifts our perspective to help us “see” truth. What has been driving me every day for 30 some years has been “Lord I want to know You.” I know all the answers to all my questions are in Him. I just need to “see” Him as He really is not who I want Him to be. As my blindspot of wrong perspective is removed, I see a beautiful faucet of the beauty of God.

Bill and Judy Weinkauff

Bill and Judy Weinkauff have been married 40 years and in their 40 year journey in God have 3 adult children and one son in law William, Amy (Jason) and David. It has been a journey in learning to hear God’s voice, even in the wilderness, and for each other as a family, encouraging each other to hang on to and pursue the promise of God. Judy and I came to Kansas City in 1990 to be a part of Kansas City Fellowship wanting to learn to hear God’s voice. In the process, we discovered that knowing God’s heart took us deeper in him and was life giving. We gave ourselves to family and served as prophetic mentors for over 20 years. Judy and I were ordained by Grace Ministries, headed by Mike Bickle in 1998. We were a part of leadership in a group called Spiritual Gifts Nuturing Groups, headed up by a spiritual mother and father, Jim and Joyce Gochenour of Kansas City Fellowship. This group impacted and mentored individuals in the Kansas City area for many years. Judy and I have traveled in Prophetic Ministry for 30 years with a heart to help individuals hear the Father’s heart and to delight in His promise over them.
